It is essential to consider ankle sprains as
a partial dislocation of a joint. If pain is not better at 6 weeks,
an MRI is done to rule out cartilage damage, a deep bone bruise
or a tendon tear.
With proper care, a sprained ankle should be forgotten in 6 months
time with full return to activity. The Foot and Ankle Institute
will work to set-up the idea protocol for your needs.
